The Vision:
Slated for Grace Ministries exists to proclaim the Word of God to women by engaging with them in authentic ways, in order to connect every woman’s story to God’s greater story, inspiring a hunger for God’s Word, a confidence to serve others, and a life of ultimate freedom through Jesus Christ.
The Definition:
Slated for Grace… To “slate” something can mean multiple things. It can mean “to cover”, like placing a roof over your head. It can mean “to schedule, to plan”, like talking about a home renovation that is slated for the next year.
Hence, to be “slated for grace” would mean not only that we are covered by grace, but that it was, indeed, planned for us…
I don’t know what your experience has been with Christians, with church life, with the Bible… I don’t know your particular feelings about God…
But, I do believe this, with all that is in me: Since before the beginning of creation, the Lord God planned to cover us with his grace. His “schedule”, His timing, has always been about showing us His love. From Genesis to Revelation, and everywhere in between (yes, even Leviticus), He is the God of Grace.
