Did you know December 21st is the longest night of the year? No doubt, you’ve had many long nights of your own – nights filled with tears, nights filled with worry, nights flooded with memories, mourning and pain. You’re not the only one, friend. Even Mary, the woman chosen to raise God’s Son, had nights like these.
This Christmas season, join Slated for Grace for a free teaching event that will cover the life of Jesus’ mother. We have more in our scriptures about her life – her joys and her heartaches – than you might have realized, and there are many unexpected lessons we can learn.
On Sunday, December 20th from 2:30 – 5:00 pm at The Empty Cup Coffeehouse (9111 Executive Park Drive, 37923), we will surround ourselves with God’s Word and with the comfort of fellow women in our own seasons of struggle, loss, and loneliness, reminding us all that – even on the longest nights – we are never alone.
Even in the darkness, there is light. Even on the longest night, there is hope.
- Light refreshments will be provided. (The Empty Cup is not officially open for business during this time.)
- Tickets are free and first come, first served.
