Poured Out: Darkness, Light, & the God Who Is With Us
A Ladies Slated for Grace Christmas Experience
Every December we sing songs and hear stories about shepherds and wise men and the God who is with us; and yet, God can seem so far away! Jesus proclaimed that he is “the light of the world,” so what do we do when the world feels so… dark?
Join Slated for Grace Ministries on Saturday, December 6th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at The Empty Cup Coffeehouse (9111 Executive Park Drive 37923) for Poured Out… Darkness, Light, & the God Who Is With Us. This two-hour teaching event will celebrate Christmas by diving deeply into the enduring hope of the Advent season. (Get ready for candlelights galore!)
Pastor Danielle Walker will take us on a journey throughout God’s Word to better understand what it means that Jesus is our light in the midst of such dark times. Whether or not you have a church home this Christmas season, our prayer is that these two hours in community and teaching will fill you with the love, joy, and peace of Jesus, our true and glorious light, providing you with all the joys of the season wrapped up in one, incredible time together!
A hot chocolate bar, hot tea, and dessert will be provided. (The Empty Cup is not officially open for business during this time.) You’ll love the Christmas-themed silent auction items, too! All proceeds support the mission of Slated for Grace, a non-profit seeking to strengthen women in God’s Word and surround them with one another.
Tickets are $35 and are first-come, first-served. Grab one for you and “gift” one to a friend today! It might be the exact Christmas present they need!
