Poured Out: Ashes, Agony, & the God Who Redeems
A Ladies Slated for Grace Lenten Experience
Have you ever heard of a man named Job? He was deeply devoted to the Lord, a man who “feared God and shunned evil” (Job 1:1b); and yet, his life went “to hell in a handbasket” seemingly overnight. What can we learn from him in our own areas of grief and suffering? What do we do when it feels as if certain parts of our lives can never be redeemed?
Join Slated for Grace Ministries on Sunday, February 22nd from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at The Core @ Central Baptist Bearden (6300 Deane Hill Drive 37919) for Poured Out… Ashes, Agony, and the God Who Redeems. This two-hour teaching event will mark the beginning of our Lenten season (i.e. that 40 day journey to the cross) by exploring the entire book of Job. (Yes, I know Job is forty-two chapters. Put on your runnin’ shoes, ladies! We can do this! 😜)
Cozy drinks and dessert will be provided. There will be some fun silent auction items, too! All proceeds support the mission of Slated for Grace, a non-profit seeking to strengthen women in God’s Word and surround them with one another.
Tickets are $21. Grab one for yourself and a beloved relative, co-worker, or friend! Invite a couple of women to join you and follow it with your own “Girls Night Out.” You could go to dinner together and continue the conversation!
